Hi, I'm Anna. I run Sip in Style - at-home wine tastings and monthly events across south Hertfordshire, north-west London and the Chilterns. If you have ever left a wine tasting feeling like you learned nothing, or felt talked at for two hours, this is the alternative.
Before I got into wine, I spent over a decade as a private EA to a high-net-worth individual. A big part of that role was managing client hospitality at the highest level — major sporting events, awards ceremonies, private functions — the kind of occasions where the experience reflects directly on the people you work for, and getting the details wrong simply isn't an option.
I learned early on that a genuinely good evening doesn't happen by accident. It's thought through, it's considered, and it never makes the guests do the work. That instinct is what I bring to every tasting I host - not just a knowledge of wine, but a feel for what makes an event actually work. The pacing, the atmosphere, the balance between learning something real and having a great time doing it.

I'm WSET Level 2 qualified and hold a personal alcohol licence, so the knowledge behind every tasting is properly grounded. But the experience you get won't feel like a classroom. It'll feel like a really good evening with someone who happens to know a lot about wine — and has thought carefully about how to share it.
