Sip in Style is a trading name of Life HR Ltd, based in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. By booking a Sip in Style experience you agree to these terms and conditions.

Bookings
All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once a deposit or full payment has been received and you have received a written confirmation from us.
For at-home wine tasting events, a minimum group size of 6 guests and a maximum of 12 guests applies. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking if the minimum number of guests cannot be met, and will provide as much notice as possible in such circumstances.
It is the responsibility of the lead booker to ensure that all guests are aged 18 or over. Sip in Style operates strictly in accordance with UK licensing law and reserves the right to refuse service to any guest who cannot confirm they are of legal drinking age.
Pricing & Payment
All prices are quoted per person unless otherwise stated. Pricing is confirmed at the time of booking and will not change once a booking is confirmed.
A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before your event date. For bookings made within 7 days of the event, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Payment can be made by bank transfer or via our online booking system. We do not accept cash payments for advance bookings.
Cancellation & Refunds
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

More than 14 days before your event — full refund of any payments made

7 to 13 days before your event — 50% refund

Less than 7 days before your event — no refund

Less than 48 hours notice or non-attendance — full charge retained
This is because wine is purchased 7 to 10 days in advance of your event and costs cannot be recovered once incurred.
We are always happy to discuss rescheduling your event rather than cancelling, subject to availability. Please contact us as soon as possible if your circumstances change.
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking, you will receive a full refund of all payments made or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
Gift Cards
Sip in Style gift vouchers are available to purchase and can be redeemed against any Sip in Style experience.

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase

Vouchers are non-refundable but are transferable to another person

Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash

Vouchers are redeemable against the full value of a booking, subject to availability

If the value of the booking exceeds the voucher value, the difference must be paid at the time of booking
Please quote your voucher reference when booking. Expired vouchers cannot be extended or refunded.
At Home Events
For at-home wine tasting events, the lead booker is responsible for ensuring a suitable space is available for the event, including adequate seating and table space for all guests.
We will arrive approximately 30 to 45 minutes before the event start time to set up. We ask that the space is clear and ready for us on arrival.
We provide all glassware, wine, tasting notes and materials. We will carry out a full clear-down at the end of the event.
The lead booker is responsible for ensuring the event environment is safe and that all guests behave responsibly. We reserve the right to end an event early if we have concerns about the safety or wellbeing of any person present.
Liability
Sip in Style holds public liability insurance. However, we cannot accept responsibility for any loss, damage or injury that occurs as a result of circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We take all reasonable care in the selection and handling of wines. However, we cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions or intolerances. It is the responsibility of guests to inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements prior to the event.
Wine is provided for tasting and enjoyment by adults aged 18 and over. We encourage responsible drinking and reserve the right to refuse service to any guest who appears to be intoxicated.
Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply to your event. The latest version is always available at www.sip-instyle.com.
